Note that wiping should be done only horizontally but not in circles. This is to protect the delicate lenticular coating of the projector screen. Alternatively, you can wipe vertically.

Now, let’s dive in to look at the steps to take to properly and effectively clean your projector’s screen incident-free.
Step 1: Spray compressed air on projector’s screen.
The first thing is to get all easy-removing dirt off the screen with the use of compressed air. Usually, this should be able to do most of the job if not all.
Step 2: Wipe the screen with a dry microfiber from left-to-right.
Note that wiping should be done only horizontally but not in circles. This is to protect the delicate lenticular coating of the projector screen. Alternatively, you can wipe vertically.
Step 3: Dip another microfiber cloth lightly into a solution of mild dish soap and clean the screen in the same fashion. Make sure you don’t over soak the microfiber cloth in the solution.
You can prepare the mild dish soap by mixing dish soap (5%) and distilled water (95%).
Step 4: In few situations, your dish soap solution may not be doing great job. If that is the case, use a denatured alcohol with the microfiber cloth to clean the screen fro left-to-right or from up-to-bottom. Once again, don’t press tightly and don’t wipe the screen in circles.
Warning
Don’t use ammonia or alcohol to clean the Projector’s Screen. Don’t scrub or wipe tightly too.
One interesting thing some people do us to wrap sellotape or masking tape around your fingers and dab it on the screen. This, according to experts, can be injurious to the delicate projector screen.
