Federal authorities have unveiled shocking allegations in newly unsealed court documents, claiming that 17-year-old Nikita Casap of Wisconsin murdered his parents as part of a broader plot to assassinate former President Donald Trump and overthrow the U.S. government.

According to an FBI affidavit obtained by CNN affiliate WISN, investigators found written documents and text messages in which the teen allegedly detailed his plans, with the double homicide apparently intended to provide him with the financial resources and independence needed to carry out his scheme.

At the state level, Casap faces nine felony charges in Waukesha County, including two counts each of first-degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse, while federal prosecutors are pursuing three additional charges: attempted presidential assassination, conspiracy, and weapons of mass destruction offenses. The victims—identified as the suspect’s mother, Tatiana Casap, and stepfather, Donald Mayer—were believed killed on February 11 but weren’t discovered until February 28, when sheriff’s deputies conducting a welfare check found their gunshot-wounded bodies in the family home. As of the latest reports, Casap has yet to enter pleas for the state charges, and his legal representatives have not responded to CNN’s requests for comment.

Authorities reported the suspect was absent from the crime scene, having allegedly stolen Mayer’s SUV, which Kansas police later intercepted during a routine traffic stop in WaKeeney. Inside the vehicle, officers discovered a trove of evidence—a .357 Magnum revolver registered to Mayer, 100 bills, and over $14,000 worth of jewelry. Subsequent searches of Casap’s phone uncovered ties to the neo-Nazi extremist group “The Order of Nine Angles,” along with a self-styled manifesto advocating presidential assassination, bomb-making, and terrorist acts to incite a “white revolution.” The document explicitly targeted Trump, stating his removal would spark chaos, and included chilling tributes to Adolf Hitler.

Investigators also found drone attack schematics, proof of explosives purchases, and stolen banking details. A classmate revealed to police that Casap had premeditated the murders, admitting he initially lacked a firearm but planned to befriend and disarm a gun owner.

Disturbingly, messages showed Casap coordinating with a Russian contact to overthrow the U.S. government and later seeking refuge in Ukraine, questioning whether he could “live a normal life” there post-crime. His arraignment is set for May 7 in Waukesha County.
