			Ghana police busted 21 people suspected to be LGBTQI+ members on Friday holding unlawful meeting in Ho, Volta region.
The 21 suspects were accused of unlawful assembly. Members of the LGBTQI+ face an ongoing persecution in Ghana and West Africa as a whole. Most Africans see the LGBTQI+ as unnatural, immoral and against their culture and customs.
The LGBTQI+ offices in Ghana were forced to close lately under public pressure.

Rights organization, Rightify Ghana, has called for their immediate release adding that they had met to deliberate on how to document and report violations on their human rights.
